I know it is hard being sick all the time - my doctor told me one day I will wake up and I
will be all better!
One day soon you will wake up and forget all about being sick too! Get Well Soon!
When Mallory discovers that she has mono, she is
crushed that she must stay in bed for a long time, and the baby-sitters wonder what they
will do without her.

Always try your best to help other people
This book helps one to realise that you can always lend a helping hand, even if you are
sick. I also recommend the book named "Claudia and the Bad Joke" by the same
author. From Jeannie van Zyl.
Everything You Need to Know About Mononucleosis

by Paul Smart

Library Binding (1998)
Discusses the nature and diagnosis
of mononucleosis and how to protect against it or cope with having it.
Mononucleosis
(Diseases and People)
by Alvin Silverstein, Virginia Silverstein, Robert Silverstein
Reading level: Young Adult
Library Binding (1994)
Gr. 7-10. Readers may search for a
book such as this when they have mononucleosis or know someone who does. The authors
enlarge the topic by giving an epidemiological and historical context to the familiar
disease and to its less familiar cousins, such as Burkitt's lymphoma and Epstein-Barr
virus. Because each chapter is divided into sections, the reading seems less daunting, and
the references and suggested readings are current. With black-and-white illustrations, a
glossary, and list of sources for more information, this is scientific curiosity at it
best. Mary Harris Veeder
