Conquering Yeast Infections: The Non-Drug Solution
by S. Colet Lahoz
Paperback (1997)
A reader, 1997
This book is of profound value for Americans.
The author has received rave reviews on her subject matter, evidenced by the popularity of her written work among professionals and the public. Her work is so
intensee. Pentland is pleased that this author has decided to share her topics of female
problems with the general populace. We are proud to present Conquering Yeast
Infections...a lifetime work and obviously a goal to bringing this subject matter to
light.. for women and their doctors. Quite an insightful book.... a must read for
women.
From Booklist, 1996
To educate physicians and their clients alike about the modern epidemic of candida
infections on account of antibiotic overuse and abuse, Sehnert and Winderlin have created
a comprehensive manual describing candida-related complex (CRC), the candida organism, and
candida's impact, especially on the immune system. They first establish that CRC is a real
illness that will eventually be fully recognized by the general medical community, but
many doctors have not been trained to detect it. They point out that the complex, caused
by a normally harmless yeast organism, produces symptoms that vary from individual to
individual and include fatigue, food intolerances, depression, anxiety, headaches, and
memory impairment. A separate section on treatment covers the basics of recovery: a
limited carbohydrate diet, prescribed antifungal medications, probiotics (i.e.,
"friendly" bacteria), and substances that naturally boost the immune system,
such as vitamins A, C, and E. Appendixes list suggested readings, support groups,
physicians treating CRC, and more. Whitney Scott Copyright© 1996, American Library

Candida Albicans: The Quiet Epidemic
by Stanley Weinberger
Paperback (1995)
Candida is a problem that affects millions of people in the United States. As many as 25 million Americans have this yeast overgrowth. Indigestion
heartburn gas, bloating, chronic fatigue, yeast infections, food sensitivities, headaches, loss of sexual desire, or feeling and PMS are among the
symptoms that may indicate the presence of a candida overgrowth. This
book offers the most complete program for reduction of candida available
today. A compilation of the latest information about Candidiasis and its
treatment and a self-test to determine whether there is a candida
overgrowth are included.
Informative and useful. The most informative, balanced and up-to-date literature I have seen on this subject.
